Installation of DuPont™ Plantex® Gold

DuPont™ Plantex® Gold is very easy to lay and use. Once the ground has been cleared of any debris or sharp stones you simply pull any existing weeds, rake the area flat and then roll the material out.

Edges can be buried and rolls overlapped to cover large areas. We advise you to install Plantex® Gold by using Plantex® PINS, so the cloth remains in place. Use sharp scissors or a knife, and cut either over an existing plant or at the position where the new plant is to go. Work the DuPont™ Plantex® Gold gently over existing plants or plant through with new ones.

DuPont™ Plantex® Gold can be used covered as well as uncovered. If you use Plantex® Gold covered, cover the fabric with at least a 5 cm layer of mulch e.g. bark, straw, gravel, decorative chippings etc.

DuPont™ Plantex® Gold is very strong, very light and versatile, it will last up to 4 years when used uncovered.
