RootBarrier® 420 UV

RootBarrier® 420 UV is an easy-to-install vertical root barrier with an extruded coating on both sides. This coating prevents the roots from getting a grip on the barrier, which forces them to take a different route in their search for water and nutrients. The combination of the 100%-polypropylene non-woven geotextile and the 100%-polypropylene coating is hardwearing and cannot be penetrated by roots; it is also lightweight and easy to install.

RootBarrier® 420 UV is black and is based on a stronger, heavier geotextile than the RootBarrier® 325, which means it is even more robust yet still flexible. Naturally this variety of RootBarrier®, just like the RootBarrier® 325, is waterproof, resistant to bacteria and most chemicals, and fully recyclable. This grade of RootBarrier® is also UV-resistant and so highly suitable for using partly above ground in order to make it easy to cut unwanted plant shoots.
