RootBarrier® products
RootBarrier B.V. has every solution you could possibly want to combat roots and weeds!
RootBarrier® 325
Easy-to-install vertical root barrier with extruded coating on one side. Inexpensive and suitable for protecting foundations, pipes and cables.
RootBarrier® 420 UV
Black root barrier, based on a stronger, heavier geotextile, which is even more robust thanks to its double-sided coating.
UV-resistant and flexible, which means it can project a little way above ground. Handy for cutting unwanted shoots.
RootBarrier® Click Connection
A simple, clean way of connecting pieces of root barrier together. Click and slide: that’s all there is to it.
Butyl tape
Two-sided, polyethylene-based adhesive tape used to secure the root barrier.
DuPont™ Plantex® Pro and DuPont™ Plantex® Gold
Easy-to-install horizontal anti-weed membrane. Easy to cut, non-fraying. DuPont™ Plantex® Pro can be covered with, for example, gravel or wood chippings. If you prefer not to cover the membrane, you can opt for Plantex® Gold. Plantex® Gold is a heavier, UV-resistant anti-weed membrane. DuPont™ Plantex® Gold prevents even aggressive types of weeds taking root. Plantex® Gold is brown on one side and black on the other, so you can choose which colour to have facing upwards to give a natural appearance on any type of surface.
DuPont™ CocoMat™ Pro
CocoMat™ Pro was specially developed for inclines and slopes: an anti-weed covering made from a layer of Plantex anti-weed membrane with a thick top layer of coconut fibres. Weeds do not have a chance, and the top layer cannot be washed away by heavy rain showers.
DuPont™ Plantex® Pins
DuPont™ Plantex® Pro, DuPont™ Plantex® Gold and CocoMat™ Pro can all be secured using the special Plantex® Pins.
DuPont™ GroundGrid™
DuPont Ground Grid is the ideal basis for drives, paths, car parks, golf courses and sports fields laid on an artificial subsurface: a three-dimensional, flexible geotextile grid for soil stabilisation.
Ground Cover
Geotextile suitable for laying under, for example, gravel, potting compost or wooden decking.
A very good alternative to tape fabric!
