Welcome to RootBarrier B.V.

 

Due to the success of the RootBarrier® product, RootBarrier BV was established as an autonomous BV (Dutch private limited company) separate from its parent company, King Nonwovens BV, as of 1 January 2005. With Bart van der Hart and Jan van Leeuwen as managing directors, the company possesses a great deal of knowledge of the products and their applications within specific segments.

 

The main product of RootBarrier BV is its RootBarrier® membrane, which is used in horticulture, landscaping and road construction to protect cables and mains in the ground and to prevent damage to gardens, streets and roads.

 

Thanks to its own production facilities and all the standard products it keeps in stock, RootBarrier BV can very quickly supply all its customers on every continent of the world.

 

RootBarrier BV is the sole manufacturer of the RootBarrier® membrane, of which the basic material is DuPont's strong “Xavan®” polypropylene fabric. This is covered with a special coating to ensure that the final RootBarrier® product is root- and water-resistant.

 

We are also suppliers of: DuPont™ Plantex®, DuPont™ CocoMat™ Pro, DuPont™ Plantex® Pins and Butyl tape.
